Thanx to everybody, this would have not been possible without this forum.

I love to experiment with Quartz Composer and started this MT-project just to expand my possibilities in QC.
On http://www.quartzcandy.com I’m sharing some quartz Compositions, check them out if you are running OSX.

Hi!

I’m Jonathan from Ohio. Right now I’m a computer science student, working on my bachelors, and working part-time at a local community college in the electrical/electronics engineering program (from whence I earned my associate’s degree). A friend tipped me off to the MS Surface project, which got me interested in multitouch--especially after seeing the hak5 video on that subject. From the hak5 video I learned about NUI Group, and found my way here. The wiki and forum posts have been very helpful, and I have parts on the way for an LCD FTIR table. We’ll see how that turns out.

MS hotfix KB975560 affects DirectShow - CVV stopped working with Unibrain Camera

Hello there!
I am Igor Schkrab from Brazil, and I guess that the information below may be useful for the community.

I had a problem at work where there was a CCV with unibrain fire-I camera working fine under Windows XP SP3 when suddenly after a reboot of the machine the CCV stopped working. But the Fire-I camera software continued working normally.

Googling for some advice to solve the problem i haven´t found any information about it… Sometimes people reinstalled the drivers, or installed patches for SP2 or SP3, but nothing has solved the problem here.

Finally we got in touch with Unibrain, explained the problem and they answered that Microsoft released the security update KB975560 in February/2010 which impacted DirectShow (used by AMCap and CCV) directly.
To solve the problem, we just needed to uninstall the security Update for Windows XP KB975560.

Hey everybody! First I want to say thanks for all the information on this board, I’ve learned a lot while reading them.

My name is Nathaniel, and I’m a .net and web developer. I’m currently living outside of West Chester PA, but I’m originally from the Lehigh Valley. I’m currently working on my first multi-touch which is a LCD FTIR setup. I think I’ve got a decent idea of what I’m doing, but I still need to figure out how to construct my cabinet and mount my LCD. Again thank you for all the information, it’s been a huge help. I hope to give back as some point but making some multi-touch software for the community.
