I am a computer science undergraduate student from Winston-Salem State University. I am going to be building a multi-touch screen over the summer to present at our ACM meetings in the Fall. My plan is to have teams of students write applications utilizing the multi-touch screen that I build. Hopefully it will inspire them to try new things and possibly create a continuous research group going at the university even after I have graduated.
