Bio

I have always been interested in the way things work and how they are put together as a child and currently I am putting that knowledge I have accumulated to work.
I went to an engineering magnet high school which specialized in engineering and architecture.  I competed in robotics competitions called FIRST and BEST while advancing a couple of the years to higher stages of the competition.  As a team member in these competitions I was usually in charge of any appendages the robot needed.  My overall job in the construction of the robots was being the draftsman and small parts fabrication.  I also did aeronautical engineering research of UAVs while in high school and was chosen to represent my high school in the field of science in my city for the Page One award which I lost to a tree hugger from a rival school.
Now I’m in college though instead of being an engineering major like I was intending I chose to go for a history major; my second love.  This change of major proved to be quite a shock to my high school teachers of whom some don’t even speak to me anymore when they see me.  While a history major seems to be a setback I see it as an opportunity to do things I would otherwise not do if I was an engineering major like this multitouch research and learning japanese as well as wanting to travel to japan.
