Hey Guys,

I have a playstation eyetoy that I got for cheap and I want to remove the ir filter on it. Only problem is that I can’t exactly find it in the camera. I’ve searched online to no avail, although I have seen the eyetoy on many lists of cameras that are able to modded for IR light. Anyone here have any luck or experience they would like to share?

I’ve a question about the unibrain fire-i. I’ve got a fire-i camera with casing, is it possible to remove this?

I know you can order the fire-i board cam, but is it possible to use this version?

A couple questions about the FireFly MV

I have been toying around with the idea of getting a Firefly MV. I think it is totally worth the money, considering some of the results other people on the forums have had. I just had a couple of questions about it before I shell out $300+ for it. Has anyone(besides AlexP) tried LLP with it? Has anyone gotten it working on Linux?

Cheap Bandpass filters for LLP Setup?

Are there any bandpass filters that work with LLP besides the ThorLabs ones? Would an exposed negative still work for this, or does that block the wrong band?

I will be getting the 780nm Lasers from Aixiz, 4 of them.

do a quick search on Philips SPC900NC in ebay

I got mine for $25 US + shipping another $29 US = $54 US which is about $56 Aussie dollers, so saved about $100 AU --- if you can find one here is Oz

Will this filter work with AixiZ 780nm Lasers?

As much as I hate to title a thread like that(sounds more like an advertisement then a thread), I know _nothing_ about filters. I was recommended to check out OmegaBob2’s Store on Ebay, and I think I may have found a filter that will work for my purposes. This Filter. Problem is, I can’t really read the graph, its so small. Its a 785nm filter, the 785BP20. Is the 20 its tolerance? How do I figure out the tolerance without using the graph(or how do I see the graph)? What Tolerance is optimal for Lasers, or MT in general?

Camera with manual exposure

Can anyone recommend a camera with a manual control of exposure?
My camera has only automatic exposure. That troubles background removement.

Are two cameras made by the same company, one is USB and one is firewire. I checked the specs and it appears these will work. Has anyone tried these before?
