Looking at it a little more it looks like openFrameworks and Flash. Very nice!
It would be nice to build an ofTUIO addon for openFrameworks though.

the videos were really impressive. all of this is done in c++? are there any tutorials on using openFrameworks to develop apps like the examples on the openFrameworks download?

Looks nice indeed, my guess is it’s done in Flash. I recognize the FPS calculator from an other project i’m following closely!
