Hello everyone!
This is my first post.. which expains a bit that im new to multitouch interfaces and technologies
Im trying to build a DI-Rear illumination setup.
The camera I have just purchased is a Philips SPC1000NC which looked to have an easy removable IR-Filter (small square of glass with a pink/red tint) on the back of the lens. This I have removed and placed a piece of a HD Floppy.
It still looks that the camera is receiving the same amout or atleast “too less” IR light, did I remove the wrong part of the lens? Also it still receives alot of normal light, like when holding a buring cigaret in front of it. Which IR leds should be best for this cam? 920nM?
For a test setup without projector, only to check if the camera and IR illuminators (which I have ordered) are working; Is it neccasary to have a special filter (like lee filter, mylar, vellum...) or something on the piece of clear glass? Is it also possible to use a mirror as diffusor?
PS: Let me know if any pictures are neccasary.
Greets,
WHiTE
