falcon4ever’s multimedia app does just that , loads files from a folder , you can use that or just make your own based on the flickr app.

but the thing is, the BT app. wud be using the cam to check for blobs when the device is placed over the table ..... so i wud need to code the photo app thing in the same app. itself ......

Hey MJ .... I have worked with Falcon4Ever’s multi-media application and think it’s not that hard to reprogram. Offcourse I could call laurence (Falcon4ever) and ask him for the source but since he is in the middle of the process of graduating it’s kind of an akward thing to do I guess… I had plans laying around to program a BT app for a while but never found the time to take a serious look at it. To just make the front-end seems pretty easy since the BT stuff itself looks the most hazzle to me.... I made a number of MT apps in flash already so that’s not new to me at all smile

Try the original flickr app and point it to a directory instead of flickr , the source code is somewhere around this forum.

@ralphdas .....
true, but the BT app. is in VB .NET .... and Falcon4Ever’s multimedia app. is in flash ... so both cannot use the cam at a time ..... since, cam wud be busy with the VB .NET app. to see if any device is placed over the table .....

one possibility is, flash app. will use the cam .... wen ne device is placed over the table, the flash app. will pass a single bit to the VB .NET app. which wud initiate pulling files frm the device and dumping it to a local folder .... as soon as this is finished ...  flash app. will take over by displaying those pics. over the surface and enabling the users interact with them ...

but i dont know nething bout flash ! .... how can i pass values between Flash and VB .NET ???
