Jeff Han patent that shows compliant surface structure

When looking through the patent thread I took a look at a couple of Mr. Han’s applications. This one got me interested as i think it shows how they are doing their compliant surface. Notice the raised bits.

There’s a 1mm air gap between the compliant surface and the table , I don’t know how he did it.

Ah ha! Those little raised dots keep the majority of the silicone up off the acrylic in the same manner that my textured silicone vellum sheets do.
After a touch, the air can get back under the silicone and it quickly releases from the surface.

Yeah, if you look close those “dots” are triangles that are actually a part of the same piece of the compliant surface. It’s all one piece from the looks, which translates into being a textured bottom. I believe HP or some other company is also using textured silicone. I forgot which one it was.
