Hi guys…

I’ve just gotten this camera for use with my school’s project. it’s enclosed in a case and it’s my school’s property and i’m liable for the condition of the camera(u guys do know how much this cost eh). i’m just a poor student.

i want to take out the IR block filter. i am wondering is the IR block filter located inside the case or the lens system? i tested with a remote control and the image is not washed out so i assume the IR block filter is present. i want to make sure before i start screwing out anything.

and what modifications and software/driver installation do i need to do, on my config.xml and on my pc to make use of this cam with touchlib?

Cheers and have a nice day

Hello icube,

Best thing to do is contact support at pt.grey. I also am about to replace the filter on a Dragonfly express. As for your connection issues i am not sure. I haven’t tried this camera with touchlib as i don’t think it up to the task.
