We have tested this acrylic, and we found its half gain angle was too low. The brightness rapidly declines when viewing the surface from an acute angle. Furthermore, the low half gain angle has the effect that you see the center of brightness moving below the table surface as you move your head.

Hello,
Do you have any other experience with this ?
I want to use it as a vertical screen.
I think the half gain angle will not be a problem considering what i plan.
Does FTIR work with it ?

No, FTIR will not work with it, because it is a rigid surface. You’ll need to use a deformable surface, like a projection film. Gerriets Optitrans is a great projection screen for mid to high ambient light installations with a very large half angle. Its color is medium grey. Gerriets Show is a black projection screen with a low half angle and is only suited for low ambient light installations, however with a powerful projector the contrast can be better. I recommend Gerriets Optitrans for the best image quality in most situations, combined with a great half angle and almost no hot spots.
