I have IR laser for LLP setup and i’m looking for a really small tripod i’m so sick of trying to build a small tripod and my build are really unaccurate and kinda stupid >.< it toke me along time and work to build it was working but the laser angel was not very accurate as it hit the mid of my finger instead of tip by that the touching spots was not very accurate inside the software and it causes blobs before i even touch the screen some times.
here is some pic's of my setup it might help you under stand what i'm looking for:

Do you need a tripod like 20-40mm in height??

Have you thought about using tack in Aus and here also in Canada at staples you can find a play-doh like substance called tack (in aus it was called blue tack) its like plasticine but it used to hang up posters and various other thing… you could take a lump of it and stick it in your wooden area and stick the laser on top of that this is a cheap solution, other wise you you could go with professional laser holders such as these http://www.opto-mechanics.co.uk/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=65

Hehe, I’m using Blue Tack here in Aus for my trials of the LLP setup (at the moment anyway) tongue wink
It’s so easy to re-position for different techniques.

It never dries out, its always malleable...and the height doesn’t make a difference you can use more of it… just get the more expensive one cause some of the cheap ones dont stick too well.

Hey Giggs, I’ve used this too. It’s not as malleable as blue tack (I’ve found that blue tack is softer and sticks better), but it will work.
