How do I plug the thing into my computer???

I dont see a USB cord anywhere included with it. Just a cord that looks like its USB, but in reality it has a tip that is a wierd tip, that is 3/4 rectangular, and 1/4 triangular.

Where do I plug it in and how?

Thanks,
Nick

The Fire-I is a firewire camera not usb.  You need a Firewire (1394 port) card - if one is not already present in your computer.

Here’s an example:  http://cgi.ebay.com/PCI-FireWire-IEEE-1394-3-1-Port-Card-4-6-Pin-Cable_W0QQitemZ140251806469QQihZ004QQcategoryZ90712QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They are available at wal-mart for about $12.00

Be sure you have an available PCI slot in your computer for the card.

The Fire-I is supposed to be a great camera.

The fact that it’s firewire is a VERY good thing....much better than USB.  Less latency, probably uncompressed, and just overall better clarity/performance.  It takes like 5 - 10 minutes to install a firewire card.  There are probably videos on youtube showing you how to do it as well.

Of course it’s your decision grin

That’s nonsense. If you already have the Fire-i, go for it. It’s so much better than USB and the camera quality and IR sensitivity is superb.
