Hi,

I am trying to use Multi touch in application. I can not able to register the dll “dwmaxx.dll”.
My laptop has Windows Vista Business. My question is whether Windows Vista Ultimate is mandatory for this to register, since I am not getting the “register” option on right click, as it is mentioned in the thread.
I am struck at registering the dll “dwmaxx.dll”.
Any suggestion are welcome.

regards
Jit

There is no “Register” option on right click. You have to start “cmd” as administrator (in right click menu). Then go to directory where dwmaxx.dll located (using “cd” like in tutorial video). Then run “regsvr32 dwmaxx.dll”.

Hi Daniel,

I have tried to execute those steps mentioned by you. I am not able to register. Please let me know whether I need vista ultimate for this. Currently I am using Dell Latitude XT with Vista Business.

Regards,
Jit

Hi jit_05,
I have tested it only with Vista Ultimate SP1. But dwmaxx.dll should work also with Business edition.
Do you need dwmaxx or just Multitouch?
