Augmented Reality

I was going to try this with a reflective tape kind of thing.  That way it could be just a sticker stuck to the bottom of anything, like a camera or phone.  I don’t know how much of a difference in reflection it would have though.

I’ve seen this one. But there is a Head tracking video with the Wiimote and goggles fitted with IR leds which I found more impressive than all.

I’ve seen this working for real, so the video don’t impress me much anymore smile Some people are porting this to compiz fusion btw :http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/Plugins/Wiitrack

Another augmented reality stuff that impressed me.
For those who never seem these kind of things, it’s done via a tool called arToolKit

The problem with arToolKit is that it is unreliable and jumpy (as seen in all videos)
It can sporadicly scale to unrealistic values and change orientation momentarily.
