Hi guys,

In september me and my teammate graduated at the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands.
We build a multi-touch that we’ve also tested in a real club environment. A multi user jukebox that is connected with the populair online social network Hyves (http://www.hyves.nl). People can personalize their blob with profile pictures, color etc. By choosing your favorite musical style (voting), data will send to the DJ. The system shows interactive flyers of upcoming events based on the most populair genre.

here a short movie of the test case we did in August.

i want to thank the community for the tips, help and all the information.

currently we are building the website with more information about our project.

grtz,

j00

Wow, that looks amazing.  What technique did you use for the table and what language is the software written in?

I am more then willing to to test your Multi-Touch programs on Linux, PM me if you have something.  If you’re looking for something faster then AS3 and Easier then C, try Python!

hi xela, Srry for my late respons…

We have used the FITR technique. For the software / programming we’ve used flash as3. It was running pretty well.

For the new prototype we want to use python instead of as3. As3/flash ask a lot of cpu, because of that we want to rewrite it with python or c++.
