ruly,
pretty cool!
what kind of illumination did you use?
are you working with IR with 860nm or even more?
and how many IR-lamps did you use?
perhaps you would like to share a photo of the inside of your desk?

best wishes from nearly winterly-grey berlin

well thnx.

screengarden(ramos): i actually using projector lamp to get IR for my table. using OSRAM HQI BT/400 W Metal Halide 5900 K since it’s a lamp/bulb of my projector. it can act as my 400 Watt IR Illuminator for the table too. so.. one great lamp two purposes..
you can use another lamp too.. just filter the visible light from the lamp. and another point is, the IR light not came from the projector lens. but from another way out in the projector enclosure..

right now i also on the way using another lamp as IR illuminator. and its really good result. i’ll share it soon.

maybe i’ll take a pic inside my table. later.. lil’ busy here right now.

enjoylife:i cannot understand exactly what u mean. but tnx for appreciation..

regards.

Ruly, that’s intersting to know what you used, but looks like the wavelength of OSRAM HQI <800nm, what kind of filter to remove the visible light? and your screen looks sharp even under the sun light, great work!
hope to see the inside details soon.

well until now. still..  i didnt post inside of table.
but i’ll descript my setup here

screen: my key on contrast and diffuse it is a thin lite pvc layer with anti glare act as diffuser too. i’ll sell it cheaply soon(about $ 35 on 800x600)
illuminator: actually i produce it just need one illuminator for a table even for daylight( about $50)->actually a high IR lamp with visible light filter
projector: short throw DIY projector with bulb act as illuminator and pj light( i sell it soon too about $500)

sorry i m still busy on my daily job. but little by little i ‘ll finish it soon..maybe :D
just hope for the best.
i actually on progress to build my framework on flash that very extended it’s ability to write i/o binary and unicode data. browse folder. browse internet explorer, and more. and it’s free for all!! and easy to develop the interface on flash/flex environment…
plus it no need flosc to catch the tuio just udp 3333. hope get lower latency interaction.

it not promise.. but nearly soon(still 65% progress). still need a hard work to finish every moduls during my busy-ness( still need money to eat here, lol).

best wishes..
