We have links to the Forum and the Wiki on the home page.  Seems fitting to add one to IRC.

I found a GPLed Flash IRC client and modified it to include sound effects and basic highlighting.  I have attached both it and the source.  I’ve been using it for a couple days, and it seems to work nicely.  IRC right in your browser.

a link from the main site would be appropriate, loading an applet or a flash jobby every time i go to the main forum would be annoying....

but i assume now that i think about it, that’s probably what the admins are gonna do…
