I was also looking at that projector, but the resolution (854 x 480) is just too low for good enough quality in my opinion. It’s basically a clone (with lower resolution) of the 3M 700 DMS. It may be useful for those with small screen sizes or who do not need great image quality.

Yer its a shame about the resolution, but I think I read somewhere that Toshiba was releasing an updated version with better resolution. Anyone else heard about it?

I have used these for a while, the throw is really good but the shape of the thing is horrendous. It’s egg shaped and the only flat surface is the bottom. Furthermore it’s pretty big and heavy compared to other projectors I have been using.

The software in the projector kinda sucks. Everytime you turn on the device it will autocalibrate. After phoning with the manufacturer they said it wasn’t possible to change that.

If you plan to use it, it’s about 600-700 euros.
