Ok I see, you still have the back light on there.

yeah; i dont think it’s wise to remove the original back lights.  it is very difficult and expensive to recreate an evenly disperse light source for the monitor.  Plus, it is not needed.  the ccfl lights produce only some IR light which can be lessened by lining up the inside acrylic with IR blocking film
