Hi,

Both dates are ok…

I started my work on “sound engineering and multitouch interfaces”

For the moment me and my collegue are working on writing a document which clarifies all multitouch projects that are existing. We are also working on making a classification of every gestures (from finger to the entire body) we can make on a surface.
We are not building a surface and yet we found an arrangement to work on the “diamond touch” by MERL.
I think the only interesting thing we could bring to this meeting is explaining the way we see the interaction between human and sound through multitouch.

Hi,

For the 1, it is not possible. And for the 8, it will be very hard for me… :(

My LCD FTRI project is stoped becaus I broke my LCD. I am searching for a cheap LCD.

See you soon, I hope.

Hello,

I am new on the forum, and I may be interested in the Paris’meeting. I am currently in Toulouse, and we work on our own interactive table, a FTIR based own, here at intuilab.com
Did you decide something for the meeting date?

cheers

Funny to have both the answer and the reply at exactly the same minute…

Does someone have an idea of both the participants and “subjects” to be disccused on?

I will be there with the sole purpose of learning from your experiences, discussing different aspects of this technology, the development process etc....
We may discuss the development of future applications for MT technology.
New ideas .....

Moreover, I would like to participate in building the MT table as a team member.
This will allow me to develop my own table alone (in future).

I can bring one webcamera (IC120 volcano) and a bunch of photo negatives.

If you agree i can work with you to build setup (volunteer) and if necessary can share some expenses as well (to buy some necessary material).

By the way, do you know about this projector:

http://www.amazon.com/Senario-Torpedo-Digital-Game-Projector/dp/B000EULXNY

I guess it looks better for “baby” setups smile for training purposes (for beginners like me) and is also less costly (around 110$).

Product Description (taken from amazon)
Turn any room into a professional-style home theater or a giant game room!
The Torpedo Digital Projector projects a huge image right on your wall or ceiling.
It works with your DVD player, gaming console, digital camera, iPod, computer, TV or cable/satellite box to make whatever you’re watching larger than life!
Delivering a diagonal projection size of over six feet, the Torpedo is perfect for getting the most out of your video games, movies and other media.
