they finally took my $99. has anyone else gotten the new firmware and coded for their iPhon/iPod youch yet?  I am going to start looking at it more detailed tonight when I get back home from school.  Finally O can use the accelerometer and openGL ES.

Hey Thomas… congrats thats amazing you got in, you gotta let us know how the SDK treats ya smile

I cant wait till the iphone dev team releases the firmware hack, hopefully then we can use the SDK to make apps and test on hardware with-out being part of some ridiculous “club"…

Wow, the acelerometer is much more accurate than I thought.  The SDK is nice, remote debugging and profiling are super easy.  but i agree about the exclusivity.  I think its a nice offer for people that actually want to sell software, have apple get 30% for taking care of all the distribution etc. but why not open it up for those of us who want to write free software? 

On a side note, I get to install the new firmware on up to 5 devices at a time, I dont have that many devices right now… wink
