Polarized LEDs

If you were to polarize the light emitted from the diodes, then put the same polarizing filter on the camera would that not provide a much higher resistance to external interference?

I dont think polarizing filters polarize IR light though

I don’t know the reason, only that IR doesnt polarize; atleast not with polarizers ive been using and are familiar with

why would u want to polarize IR light in the first place?

to block ambient light… if you—polarize the leds then—polarize the camera anything | would be discarded… just another step closer to less interference maybe?
