@Vlado
No, I’ve been able to get input and have tweaked the filters in order to get a very rough blob that at least works with smoke and very jittery for the mouse driver.
The issue I am having is that the simplehighpass filter that cerupcat has in his config.xml for this project does not load. Only the highpass filter replaces whatever I put in the config for simplehighpass.
Other than this, the device works.

EDIT:
Here’s a picture of my current config and end result using the Smoke app.

Try using cerupcats config from the first page of this topic , if not i’l give you an older config of mine.Your dv capture actualy looks hell’ava lot better than mine smile) , i can see now that i need a better webcam.
What are you using as a difuser? Tracing paper or just plain old white paper?

Your camera input looks great , but your config really sucks smile) you could do that better with just the contrast filter…

EDIT:Here are my configs , the first is based on cerupcats and is the one i curently use , but i used to use one of the other 3 i just atached.

One of them is broken , sorry but i can’t witch it is , just try them and see if any of them work , even tough i recoment the one called config.rar as giving the best blobs.

Just play with the blur knob and the sc/level knob , tell us if it’s working as “advertised” smile)

@Vlado
Thanks for the help.  I’m currently using tracing paper as a diffuser.

I ended up downloading Beta 2 again. This time the simplehighbypass filter was recognized and the end result blobs look much better. I think something was missing when I downloaded it only because I remember it finishing when my internet died on me for a while. I guess it thought it finished downloading, but was missing something. I don’t know, at least its working now.

My config is only slightly different than cerupcat’s when the values are compared. Just personal tweaking…
When my little sisters saw Smoke working, they were having a blast.

Yes, I’m hoping for a mac version soon. I can’t promise when though, but there will for sure be one that’ll also be much better (I hope) =)

Hey Seth,
Amazing package release… everything is really well put together.
I had one question i was wondering if the photo app with video you released and the wall pong game you released are they open source?
because i’d love to see the how you implemented video in the photoapp.

Thanks
Taha

The photoapp with video is not open source , even tough you can play with it and load your own files the source code is not available. You can get it here http://www.multigesture.net/

Vlado, actually the version I put in the MTmini Package is opensource. It’s not Falcon’s mediaapp. You can find the source on touchlib.googlecode.com svn. wink It’s not as pretty as falcon’s (and not as many features), but it works.

Hi guys,
yesterday I made a box with N95 as a webcam. I used a mabiola webcam usb software for mobile and PC to make N95 a basic webcam. Everything works fine. I could use a bluetooth connection to make a box fully wireless but the data transfer isn’t good as a USb connection…
Whatever. I’ve took some pics to show us and a short video, so here it is:

Hey dude i just saw that u used your n95 as a webcam for using the MTmini, i wanted to try that out for myself because i dont have a webcam. I managed to install mobiola webcam and thats working oke. But i can’t seem to get touchlib to recognize it, it just stays grey, i already tried putting a friendly_name into the DSVL_config.xml but that didn’t help. If you could help me out i would really appreciate it.

Another thing i forgot to mention was that i dont get the Property Sheet dialog box when i start up the configuration.bat file.

Hope someone can help me out.

cheers

The Flosc start button does not show and I can enlager it so I can use the MT pad
to play/use the flash games/item ect.

I guess theres a way to fix it.

Using it a a mouse does not work to well.
