I cannot for the life of me get the config.bat to work...the screens all pop up but i only see tv snow:
i attached a pic of what i get...im using a microsoft lifecam 3000

please help its frustrating, especially when its so close =(

Hi, since i got problems with the config too, i will post over here:

Hi, i only have gray windows when running the the config. In the Help you told to run the GraphEdit Tool, to get the Name of the camera. So i did (Picture 1). After this i added the name into the xml File (Picture 2).
If i’m running the “1) Configuration.bat” i only get the tons of windows with a gray background. I am even missing the “Property Sheet Properties” Window, wich is supposed to appear first?! I instantly get the comando shell with the resolutions inside and many windows to configure my gray background.

I tested my camera, aswell. On Picture3 you can see my Webcam is working with other progs :(

so, the same prob as i got, eh? Does your config start with the Property Window? Or with all the small windows, too?

Are you guys using the new MTmini package? Make sure you’re using that package.

If you are, i’ll post a hopefull fix in a few.

hey just to clarify skordas mine does start with the properties sheet which i fill out, then it sends me to the screens shown above =(

but ya, i have touchlib v2 beta thanks again =D =D

also, i have a tvtuner that shows up in the graphedit(i just ran the graph edit and edited theconfig.xml and now instead of snow i get the grey screen and have the same problem as skordas =/

OMG...I fixed it!! =D =D

i just disabled the tvtuner and now it works!
i didnt even use the edited config.xml which made the screens grey(for me)

hit the windows button and typre run and enter to open run.exe
then type devmgmt.msc and hit enter then expand the “sound,video, game controlls’ group right click on your tuner and select disable

you can enable your tuner like this too

Unfortunately i have a new problem, it seems that in the config, my windows are titled differently than in the tutorial, also, it looks like my input isnt being ionverted, so that my blobs remain black on grey, rather than white on black =(

Yu are not using the MTmini package v1 that I mentioned before. Please download that package. You can find it in the forum here: http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/1731/

i downloaded the version linked on your website :/ At least that one was called MTmini Package v1.zip and is 41MB big. But i will try to re-download it from the link you just posted.

And after some reboot i still don’t get the Property Window after running the “1) Configuration.bat” :/

i tested it with the linked version, same problem. I instantly get to the many config windows instead of the property one :(
And i don’t have any TV card or anything else. My Webcam is pretty old. Might this be a problem?

ok, i tested it with the webcam of a friend, and it worked perfectly. Seems like my camera is not supported with your tool, yet :/ Anyway that webcam is old and fuji doesn’t even offer drivers for it on their website ... maybe time to buy a cheap new one.

Exactly the same problem is with my WebCam also. Nobody has found anything?

I use the camera of my PDA, and it works absolutely perfect. I checked it with amcap.exe and it was OK.

So, please, couldn’t you somehow offer a solution for this problem? I mean, there must be something, that can solve this.

I edited also the xml file, but it didn’t help…
