I’m looking to create an annotation tool for my current MT4j application, where the user can annotate on top of existing GUI components. I am assuming I’ll be able to do a glasspane type idea. Throw an MTRectangle on top of my existing GUI and set setNoFill() and setNoStroke() to false. Is this the right idea?

Depends what your glasspane has to do exactly. But yes, generally you would put an MTRectangle ontop and setPickable(false) so the gui still gets the input.
