I thought it would be handy if we all posted the operation system we intend to develop on. This way it will be easier to get in contact with the people that work on the same platform.

For me it would be Windows, but I believe my project group also has intentions doing stuff for OSX.

Using both (Ubuntu & XP 64) but I’d prefer to stick with linux (that’s what I hope to do my development with)

Since most parts are wirtten in Java+OpengL, the compoments run on many platforms.
However, I have only written a JNI-Bride to our Firewire CameraDrivers for Windows and Linux yet.

At work, I work on a dual-boot pc with WinXP and Ubuntu 6.10 installed and my personal computer is a macbook pro 17”, which I sometimes use for sketching algorithms at home, when they spontaneously come to my mind wink

OS X for me. My PC is used too much by other family members to be used and I don’t have another computer to run Linux on (Not dual booting, mom wouldn’t let me).

i have winxp, winxp x64, and suse linux 10.2. i’m developing in flash/java, so platforms are not a problem for me. the only problem is that my current webcam only has winxp drivers. i’ll be buying a new one ....soon

I have a vista laptop, but I code in C++ and OpenGL, so whatever I write will be somewhat portable. I’m really interested in writing things in a cross-platform way, but I don’t want to get bogged down by the details of cross-platform compilation, so I’ll most likely do all first-coding for my vista machine, then maybe look into finding consistent ways to convert the code to a Linux distro, say Ubantu.
