Hey guys,

Thought it would help just rounding up some videos from the past couple days with Microsoft’s Kinect Sensor:

The panasonic video was interesting.  That interactive mirror setup sure is amazing.

Question ... in the Video(Third video) it shows the Kinect camera moving around ... is it supposed to move like that during regular Kinect Game play?  I haven’t seen my camera move like that during any of the games I played ... even when I walk out of the screen view.  I’m wondering if my camera is defective??

@dartan no that is just us controlling the motor used inside the kinect which is normally used for example in MS Live Chat to find/track faces.

Ok thanks ... I played the Kinect Adventure game ... the Demo Joy Ride and done a little video chat with it ...and never seen mine move like that ... it does appear to track me with the lens but the WHOLE camera does not move.

Just wanted to make sure mines not acting up or defective.

during game play the kinect doesnt move, the movement is only for facial tracking and when you are video chatting in a group.
