So I’ve been at it for a while, and read almost every forum there is. I’m slowly replacing openFrameworks librarys with the 32 bit ones from the svn.

Though currently I’m stuck at compiling, where it says:

-------------- BuildRelease in Community Core Vision ---------------

Linking console executablebin/Community_Core_Vision
obj
/Release/libs/openFrameworks/sound/ofSoundStream.oIn function `ofSoundStreamSetup(int, int, ofBaseApp*, int, int, int)':
ofSoundStream.cpp:(.text+0x1bf): undefined reference to
`RtAudio::RtAudio(RtAudio::RtAudioApi)'
ofSoundStream.cpp:(.text+0x1f1): undefined reference to `RtAudio::openStream(int, int, int, int, unsigned long, int, int*, int)'
obj/Release/libs/openFrameworks/sound/ofSoundStream.oIn function `ofSoundStreamListDevices()':
ofSoundStream.cpp:(.text+0x397): undefined reference to
`RtAudio::RtAudio(RtAudio::RtAudioApi)'
ofSoundStream.cpp:(.text+0x39f): undefined reference to `RtApi::getDeviceCount()'
ofSoundStream.cpp:(.text+0x439): undefined reference to `RtApi::getDeviceInfo(int)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Process terminated with status 1 (0 minutes, 0 seconds)
5 errors, 0 warnings

Can anyone help me?

Why dont you use the moved repository from here - http://nuicode.com/projects/ccv ! you can compile openFrameworks and then CCV directly , all the thing you need for 64 bit are included there.

Thanks, this lead me in the right direction! I compiled it and ran it!
I’m getting successful tuio outputs on port 3333 smile

Though, it was still hours of work, it was so worth it!

In case anyone else happens to stumble across this, and wants to use my binary, feel free, I attached it.
It works on ubuntu 10.10 64 bit.

Edit: It wouldn’t attach, so let me know if this link works…

Wow thanks… Ya know, for all the searching I did on CCV you would have think I would have come across this....

Anyway, for compiling, I had to use the original ofSoundStream.cpp for whatever reason.
I also I had to relink gstreamer.
Finally, there was a line in ffmpeg, that wasn’t working. After some google searches, I determined it would be harmless to CCV to comment it out.

After which it compiled…

Thanks for that link though, I have no idea why I never was able to find it..... This version runs fine on 64 bit as well.

Well, there is a scripts folder. You need to run the files in there so that it downloads the required libraries. I will be writing a tutorial on how to compile CCV on all the platforms soon !

Yeah, originally I was following this tutorial:
http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/8691/

And I ran everything in the scripts folder.

Though, the second time around, I needed to reinstall codeblocks myself, without the script.

I think this might be what I’m looking for.
I’m running Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit.

Im a total noob at compiling Ubuntu software, which really doesn’t help!
I’ve been trying to get ccv to run on my machine for a while with no joy.
It simply isn’t starting up :(
