acturally fps doesn’t work.
to change the distance, try to change LOWBOUND and UPBOUND in config.xml

well, i think it’s because the calibration.
you know, when you use the normal CCV with common cameras, you do the calibration first to align the camera plane with the screen plane. but for my kinct-CCV, it’s only a kind of ‘distance-away touch’. there is not a screen. so i just modifed the calibration.xml manually. acturally i have not tried the kinect-ccv with the screen touch.
so if you are using the screen touch, maybe you can try calibration first.
plus, could you provide a picture of your setup?

Hi All,

I’m trying my best to get this working with VS2010 under Win7 x64. I’m not sure if the VS2008 conversion was the issue but I can’t seem to compile getting 14 errors looking like this -

error LNK2001unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) public: static unsigned int const std::basic_string
<char,struct std::char_traits<char>,
class std::allocator<char> >::npos"
(__imp_?npos@?$basic_string@DU?$char_traits@D@std@@V?$allocator@D@2@@std@@2IB)
C:\...\CCV_r210\apps\addonsExamples\VS2008\rtAudio.lib(RtAudio.obj)    Community Core Vision

As for the compiled exe, I got it to show once and it crashed when hitting next camera. I can’t get it to launch again no matter how many times I restart or uninstall and reinstall any version of the NUI Platform. When using CL-NUI-Platform-1.0.0.1121, in the device manager, there is an entry like this:

Jungo
|_WinDriver

If that’s not there (using the newer CL-NUI-Platform), the console will freeze at “freedom?” and crash when closing. If it is there, the console will go past “freedom?” and other steps but for me it won’t launch CCV. The console quickly closes and after a few seconds the process closes (in the task manager) without error.

Any ideas? Anyone able to post a working compilable vs2010 zip?

well, thanks for your detailed descriptions and sorry for the all the troubles brought to you.
this kinect-ccv is only a very dirty modification on CCV so there must be lots of bugs. one of them is you can’t hit ‘next camera’. so pls try the following:

1) pls use CL-NUI-Platform-1.0.0.1121
2) replace your config.xml with the one i provided
3) don’t hit ‘next camera’ when using this kinect-ccv

for the VS2010 thing, i think it’s maybe because you forget to link some lib files.

hope that helps!

just edit my first post. now you can play air-touch with kinect and CCV with neither CLNuiPlatform’s driver or OpenNI’s driver.
