I have a 4 сам (PS eye3) configuration, successful calibration, but when I start MT4j, touch the screen in one quarter I see screen reaction in other quarter. When I run pymt in full screen mode, I have two identical copies of the pymt example in two quarters of the screen, the other two quarters are gray/

Can it be because CCV 1.4.1a?

Try to check HORIZONTALINVERSE and VERTICALINVERSE tags in config.xml

@js

I have solved the FLASH problem.

I debug the flash app and found the received tuio message has a redundant substring as ‘[/TCP]’ at the last of the message which cause the exception. And message from ccv 1.3 hasn’t got such a substring.

Then I trace the source code of ccv 1.4,
at ofxTCPClient.cpp, function bool ofxTCPClient::send(string message)
you may found such code:

message partialPrevMsg message STR_END_MSG;

and such comment:

// tcp is a stream oriented protocol
// so there's no way to be sure were
// a message ends without using a terminator
// note that you will receive a trailing [/TCP]
// if sending from here and receiving from receiveRaw or
// other applications

and at ofxTCPClient.h

#define STR_END_MSG "[/TCP]"

Yes, the substring [/TCP] is a terminator note, but the flash app does’t take it serious. So we should delete it also.

And I check the source code of ccv 1.3. It changed the code exactly as I did.

//    message = partialPrevMsg + message + STR_END_MSG;
    message partialPrevMsg message;

I don’t know why this terminator note is defined but not used. Somehow, deleting it may make the flash app work well smile

Just find the function bool ofxTCPClient::send(string message) at ofxTCPClient.cpp

replace

message partialPrevMsg message STR_END_MSG;

as

//    message = partialPrevMsg + message + STR_END_MSG;
    message partialPrevMsg message;

Then re-compile the code.

Should you have any question, please feel free to contact mesmile

When CCV supports WM_TOUCH messages along with TUIO messages?

Any update on ETA?

Also, is the current repository what is being used for closed testing? I tried compiling from that and, although the program runs, I am missing many abilities such as camera selection.

Hi everybody!

I’m experimenting with LLP Multitouch Wall, 4 PS3 Eye cameras and CCV 1.4.1a (Multicamera “Anat” version), these are my specs:

- Wall of 107’’ or 272cm of diagonal aprox. with 16:9 aspect.
- Using 6 Infrared lasers of 850nm in each corner and one in the top and one more in the bottom of the Wall.
- PS3 Eye modified cameras with infrared filter and 2.5 lens (Exposure and Gain AUTO). NOTE: They are Activated in Code Laboratories.
- PC Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @2.83GHz @2.83GHz, 4Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT Graphic Card, 6 USB ports.
- Ultra short throw Projector with 1024 x 768 of resolution (the aspect was altered to 16:9 because of the Wall dimensions so the projection is a little distorted).
- A Rosco difuser between Acrylic (10mm thick) and a Glass (10mm thick). Seriously i don’t know if the Glass is a correct way of LLP setup ¿? and if that afect my system.
- ...

So the problem is that i can’t config WELL my system because of:
1. The Blobs are weak and there are some parts in the Wall that doesn’t detect the CCV (i thinck due to the Camera Stiching).
2. The cameras appear in different order, i did try to invert them Horizontal and Vertically but no success.
3. In this version of CCV “Anat” it doesn’t let me calibrate the Points of the Wall.

...i’ll upload a video tomorrow to clarify what i say.

Here the CameraSettings.xml

Hi all,

i have a multitouch table with 6 PS3 cameras. With 4 cameras ccv works fine, but with 6 ccv doesn’t start. I have an additional pci-e usb controller. I’ve tried several settings with framerate and resolution, but this won’t solve the problem. There are all cameras activated in the cl-eye driver, too. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot! Here my settings:
