Hello guys I’m working on a project trying to make my arduino UNO (ATMega328p) kit works as a keyboard. what it should do is to be reconized as a keyboard and when a few buttons are pressed it should write in a notepad, or word for exemple, one letter.
I have tried a few codes that I could find on the internet but I’m always stuked on the part where the arduino should be reconized as a HID or a keyboard by the the computer and the computer does not reconize him.
Any tips on what I should do?

What I used as base to build this.

Tried what was mentioned in here, seens like KX had the same issue:

Hi, I’m having some trouble getting UsbKeyboard to work (Device not recognized).

I’m using version 5 of the library with Arduino IDE 21. I’m using the schematic from http://www.practicalarduino.com/projects/virtual-usb-keyboard .  But I’m guessing this schematic may be out of date?  The readme says :

“* Build the USB mini-shield documented here:

NOTE: The code will NOW ONLY WORK WITH THE PCB DESIGN
*NOT* THE PROTOBOARD DESIGN. “

And all of the documentation constantly links this site, which is down -

Does anybody have the PCB schematic? Or any other ideas? (I’m using 0.5w Zeners).

Thanks a lot

and as a reply someone told:

Have you tried it on a different USB port, different operating system and/or computer?

No, that schematic should be okay.
