Just as an FYI… I have ordered one of their touch frames. I have to say the delivery was quick and the frame worked just great! The folks at ZaagTech have been very helpful in answering all of my questions.

I highly recommend their products.

Thanks ZaagTech!!

I also have picked up some of these frames and as a result have setup a reseller account for the tech!

the_goat: The frames are just frames.  The glass or acrylic is an add.  And can be what ever you want to attach it to.

I should have “water proofing” covers available for these frames early January as well as fully units (TV, Frame and surface water proofing) around then.

Hmmm, I don’t see any price tags anywhere, how much do they cost?

If you would like to see the frames in action, I have a couple setup which I can demo with various applications. Just let me know what you’re interested in.

Currently, I’m using a 46” - 40-touch frame as my “all-the-time” screen.  I have to say, I really like it.

Well the upsides to these is that they can just be easily thrown on top of an LCD/LED monitor and off ya go.

Or I’m sure someone out there might use it for rear projection to make it easier to have multi-touch, and the transparency helps if they want to add fiducials later.

Who knows, it’s all up to their imaginations I guess.

I’ve actually been playing around with using the frame to handle touch and leaving fiducial to my vision systems on my rear projection builds.  this works really well for low power systems since the processing requirements for the fids and the touch in CCV is fairly high.  The frame handles the touch events amazingly well on everything from an Atom proc to an i7.  This leaves the CPU to handle Fids.

can you tell me more about the water proofing covers?

also can anyone tell me if there is a recomended pc configuration? I was thinking of going with Amd proc and Nvidia graphics card.
