Greetings Fellow Aussies,

I figured if this wasn’t done before, it might be a good idea to do it now (or bring it up and refresh it again).

For all the Aussies (Heck, even those Kiwi’s too), fall in and let us know where ya live and if you’re made a MT table or not yet.

I’ll start the ball rolling I guess…

Please Cut and Paste the Template Below and fill in

Name: Greg (iTrooper)
Location: Penrith, NSW
MT Table Status: Under Construction
MT Type: Possibly Rear DI
MT Photos (url): Not yet, but soon.
MT Function: Looking to use it at a convention coming up soon and for other group activities. A real attention getter. I’d also love to figure out how to set it up to read Fiducials so I can put them on the back of membership cards for my group, and they can put these cards on the table and have their info pop up which would be awesome.
Misc Info: None at this time.

To those Aussies here who have been long time forum members, who else from memory do you know is an active poster and Australian? Can ya give them a hollar and tell em to pop on over?

We really need to work and stick together so we can assist each other with advice and store locations for some of the items we need.

That’s why I said “(Heck, even those Kiwi’s too)” in my original post, you guys are practically family wink

Good to see some folks dropping in here so we can all get familiar with each others names and help each other out.

I’m working towards building a Rear DI touch table, and we’re not sure what type of frosted toughened glass we’d like to go with.

Would the thickness interfere with it’s ability to create blobs or see fidicuals, and what not.

Any Aussies here who’ve built such a table using glass? what did you use/get?
