That’s what my coworker’s Carpenter dad said it would cost for the glass and parts (he must know some people he deals with often to get the price that low).
We’re still up in the air regarding the surface material. Glass or Perspex. Perspex scratches easily, unless it’s scratch proof and asking Aussie shops for that seems tricky, some of the shops have no clue about it. Only seems the American shops know what we’re talking about.
do you have a sample of a plexiglass? if not, I am cool to share with you a sample piece. So, you will have a chance to scratch it. Also, I will have a look a frosted piece of plexiglass for you (hope I still have it).
To protect a plexiglass, you can use a transparent film (the one for tinting car glasses).
