Go to device manager - and delete you camera driver and driver for your 1394 controller. Then go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and delete all sys file that was shipped by point grey. After that you’ll be able to get worked 1.8 driver and run CCV 1.5 with your camera.

I uninstalled the 1394 driver. There was no pgr1394.sys or similar how is the / are the files called exactly ?) in the respective folder.

I then reinstalled the PGR FlyCapture 1.8 Release 26 (which stops with a window saying “Time remaining 0 seconds”, but doesn’t close it self, you need to press “Cancel”, while the driverControlGUI already shows up - ok well it closes the install window as soon a s you close the driverControlGUI).
--> However, still no camera detected, and it says only the Microsoft 1394 Driver is installed (may be because I cannot select a camera?).

Under windows\system32 (and not under \sysWOW64) I still cannot find a pgr1394.sys file, and there is no Point Grey device under device manager (which Í saw when I installed the 2.2 driver)

Hopefully my last post regarding this integration problem smile

I successfully got the FF image into CCV 1.5, using the 1.8 Firefly driver. Still there’s no camera showing up in the driverControlGUI and still there is no pgr*.sys file under C:\windows\system32 neither sysWOW64.

I’m not entirely sure where the problem was, I now got the Point Grey Devie in the device manager now, unfortunately my FireWire cable seems to be a possible source of error.

I asked in the beginning about the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables - I now got

- 2005
- 2008 x86 9.0.30729.17
- 2010 x64 10.0.30319
- 2010 x86 10.0.40219

installed, and it works.

I had a problem after installation, cause during the CCV 1.5 installation I selected Yes and I don’t have active camera on CL-Eye Device Manager. By the way, @Anatoly helped me fix this problem.

heyy did you find d solution...if yes please reply back
