hi,

is there a way to control the camera settings (exposure time, brightness, b/w, etc.) through touchlib? i can adjust the settings of the webcam when using microsoft’s amcap (or something like that) - but they are lost when i close the tool. any possibility to do this via touchlib? or is there some kind of general tool for this?

greets,
marc

if you downloaded the touchlib binaries, there is a tool called ‘configapp.exe’. that’ll allow you to adjust settings like contrast, brightness, treshold etc.
is that what you need? there’s a topic in this forum describing the tool, the calibration, etc.
search for it and you’ll find it.

thanks for replying, but those adjustments are for the image processing of touchlib itself. i would need something to adjust the settings of the cam ...

I use AMCap to set the settings.. strange that your camera loses the settings when you close the app.
