I thought since I’m brand new to the community, and there are a lot of questions I have about some more general aspects of creating a MT surface, that I would document my first attempt at building one.  That way as I figure out how to answer my own questions, maybe at some point in the future another newbie can get some good information from my videos.

I’ll post them all in this thread and let the thread act as a blog for my process hopefully somebody else can benefit from it.  Of course, also share your thoughts, especially if you see me do something terribly wrong.

I"m sure I’ll get better at this as I do it more, but I’ve never done tutorial style youtube videos before and I tend to stammer and say uh and umm a lot.  So hopefully I’ll plan these out a bit better as I get going with it.  I also need to clean up my basement.

Here are the first 2 videos.

6th Video up, I’ve got it basically working now.  Just have a problem with the positioning of the camera, and general mounting issues.  I have a gorillapod tripod coming in for my projector, which should suffice for that.  But the OEM lens on the PS3eye is a bit more hassle than I expected.
