Selected projects for this year’s Google Summer of Code has been posted: http://gsoc.nuigc.com/about/projects

We are working on a blog post/project pages to outline this years roadmap and goals which will be available next week. This year we are doing two new things; first an open hardware project so this should be very interesting. Second we have selected two students to work solely on CCV 2.0 which will focus on full separation from UI/Processors.

Student will begin designing/coding on May 21st so look forward to more developments on CCV, Kivy and beyond.

I just checked and noticed that you have a project with kivy and none with mt4j, why is that?, is kivy better?

Nope, we did not receive any MT4J project proposals this year. So I would not view this as us picking favorites, besides that both projects target different languages (Java/Python) so really apples and oranges.
