Got it!

I uploaded a new build of Surface2TUIO and the demo files, just use the references from the first post. Apparently TUIO_AS3 did call for the velocity values, so I added those to Surface2TUIO.

The demo files have been updated to show off both Drag, Scale and Rotate gestures along with cursors and objects.

The Air installer has also been updated.

Enjoy! smile

Thanks!

The drag/scale/rotate + TUIO example will be very helpful!

I just want to say this is awesome! I’m considering a business change into exhibit interactive design and this is something I was really hoping existed!

Do you know if flash can grab the picture from the pixel sense camera? For instance if you put a QR code down on it, would you be able to import the image into flash?

This is very useful tool. Many thanks for sharing!

One question—is it possible to change the port the Surface2.0TUIO outputs on, i.e. to something other than the default 3333?

Hello eilsoe,

I’m a n000b to the ways of the TUIO and the Surface, but am striving to learn how to use the library, along with your Surface2TUIO app.

I can get touches registered with the air app you’ve posted, but for the life of me, I can not get fiducial markers registered.

I am a Flash proficianto, have been working with AS3 for quite some time.

My setup is as follows:

Samsung SUR40
Windows 7
Your specs - TUIO Library/Surface2TUIO

I am attempting to use the Microsoft byte tags, when I drop a tag on the Surface, it does not register as the cursor blob I’m adding, so I know that something is happening, but none of the rest of my code fires off via the byte tag.

I was wondering if you had any more code examples(other than your air app, which I’ve been studying thoroughly) that might further de-mystify what I’m missing.

Thanks for your stellar work on this,
~Chipleh
