Silicone Lubricant Spray as Compliant Surface?

Hey, after much testing with possible fabrics and other sheet like materials, I have decided to try to make a silicone layer for my compliant surface.  Nothing is giving me satisfying results.

While looking for silicone products on lowes website I came across this:

Its a Silicone Lubricant that comes in an aerosole can to be sprayed.  I’m not sure what this stuff is like.  I wonder if it is and stays fluid.

Has anyone had any experience.  I think I might get a can before I buy the silicone for the traditional silicone method.  I’ll try it out on a small piece of my acrylic and post my results if anyone is interested.
