Here’s the table I built for my company. We’ll be redoing the top in a day or two - it got a bit warped from the heat.

Great Master NOiz !!

what kind of layer did you put on top of the Rosco ? It seems to be a reflective layer ...

How many touches can you simultaneously perform ?

Is there a slight curve up at the sides of the table?

I kind of like that idea to have the slight curve up, especially with the material you are using. It looks like some kind of very smooth metallic feel. Very nice!!

The curve is not intentional. wink it warped from the heat (it’s wood, with aluminum on top). I’ll be redoing the top this week..

I’m not using rosco - it’s just acrylic with mylar paper on the bottom as the projection surface / diffuser (it’s a diffused illumination table).

oh..LOL..

If you have your Mylar at the bottom, wouldn’t the bare acrylic on the top surface a little not very smooth when your fingers drag on it? My bare acrylic surface always has that stiff drag or static effect that make touches don’t feel good.

I put the mylar on the bottom to avoid the hotspot issues with the projector and IR lights.. I think it’s the best way (for a DI setup anyway).

WhiteNoiz I see from your pics on flickr (take a look diagdave) that you have two fans in your table. Are two not enough or were they not active? We are planning to build a table very similar to yours so it would be interesting to know. Also what is the diffuser material over your IR illuminator, and have you installed more IR yet as you mentioned previously? If so any pics? grin
