I’ve written software that turns any surface into a multitouch touch screen, whilst it was released long before Ubi’s product it’s just not managed to gain the same kind of press. It also works a little differently.
The software uses 1 or more Kinect or OpenNI compatible sensors to turn any flat surface (supports over 200") into a 128-point multi-touch touch screen for Windows 7 and Windows 8.
