I just came across this site and really know nothing about them or their products. Lots and lots of cheapo cameras (an many other shiit), but without specs. Some reviews of other webcams report 640x480 at 30fps. But this one presumably does not have an IR blocking filter to remove (I would not assume it to have an IR-Pass filter though).

Anyone have any luck with using super cheap no-name webcams?

hey there, im familiar with that site, orderer quite a lot of stuff. if you need things quick, go buy it local. but if you have time (a month+) it eventually will ship. i received all my items (to germany) or at least got a refund for them. customer support is slow but you see that they are really trying to help

concerning cheap webcams: i kind of believed that there are real 30fps cheapos out there but everyone i tried turns out to be 30fps at like 176xsomething, they just put it on the cover so it looks like it can do 30fps at 640x480 or even 800x600. plus you get like cheap drivers with it, that may waste a lot of performance

where is the manufacturers logo? 20$? i’d be wary, personally. to be less negative, it looks cool and the snake neck is a great idea
