i had to discard the spc900-nc because of a Huge Latency .
I ‘ve been trying this webcam with several computer to conclude that ‘s not a CPU problem .
Since a lot of NUI member are using it , I guess, it must be a driver problem .

Any clue ?

Can someone send me a proper driver ?

Well, how much is huge ?
Did you measure it somehow, or just a guess?

I am getting about 200ms delay with my spc900.
The rest of the hardware is well set up and up to date, so i guess this should be normal for the phillips.

I am using driver version 5.1.2600.21 on XP SP2.

The webcam’s default FPS is 5 fps or something like that, you have to manually set the fps to 30 or 90, (90 is software upscaling from 30 fps)
The webcam at our project is working like a charm, however we are looking for a better (firewire) cam.
