hi

can i just say this is a great post and thank you for releasing the app loader open source. I was just wondering can you code a back button from each app to the app loader and where would the code go say in the paint app for example?

cheers

x peace

Hi webmonkey, I’m currently working on another AppLoader for AS3 Multitouch applications, however, there already is a back button in the AppLoader.
I originally posted on my blog the instructions to go back to the AppLoader menu and quit the current application.

http://orionmultitouch.blogspot.com/2008/05/app-loader-user-background-image-plus.html

A long Press (5 seconds) will activate the pop-up menu to allow you to exit the program by pressing ‘x’…

See the attached pic for a screenshot of the long press function.

Hope this helps…

Hi Nurlan, sorry for the late reply, I totally missed this one!

You need to make sure that the illumination you are using emits IR light. Any influence of ordinary visible light will dramatically decrease performance in a setup like ORION. (Rear DI with Projector)

Hope this helps…

Hey NightCat91, thanks for the kind words mate!

It’s still in testing stage getting some weird scrolling issues. Here’s a sneak peak though....

I’ll have a demo available soon with some instructions on how to customize it to your own liking as well… might get a few people to test it out for me wink

@nmax, how are you testing the osButton function? Do you have a multi touch setup or are you using the simulator?
The osButton function does not work in the simulator.

Hi Fairlane thanks for fast reply, tested on surface and simulator. I must say that I use just one app (PHOTO) in OSapp and osbutton is not working. When I put other app’s everything works fine (but I only need photo apps!).

Any Idea?

Thanks
