I’m just moving into the software side of multitouch, and I was wondering if some of you have had experience with both Flash and Processing.

I have reasonable experience with Flash in AS2, but I’ve read somewhere that Flash shouldn’t be considered for serious app development because of performance issues.

Is Processing a better alternative? I’m studying it now, but it just seems a little inadequate for more structured applications. On the other hand, the ability to blend OpenGL sounds appealing.

I know C++ would be best performance wise, but we don’t have the time to become proficient at it, and Processing is incredibly easy to learn.

Any thoughts?
