tbeta works really nice and fast.

The MTapps works really fast with my new computer!

@Seth Sandler: Thanks for the nice words in the comment on vimeo!  smile

Very nice! I have a question though, I built one but I am having trouble getting even light, my palm or something will make a shadow that is just about as strong as the fingers, no matter which direction or height I try. I was thinking, if I put a LED frame along the sides of the screen (off to the side so the LEDs don’t make severe uneven points of light), do you think it would improve the blobs? Thanks! And if anybody else has any other ideas to help me out please do tell!

Well after a frustrating morning and afternoon I decided in the late hours of my job today to knock together this pad.  Just used an empty reflex box, ‘borrowed’ the bosses Microsoft lifecam, piece of printing paper and glass from my degree frame....wallah in business and pretty cool.  Worked quite well and wall pong was fun.  Playing with the pictures was pretty novel for longer than expected to smile Thanks to the devs of the software.  Inspires me to knock together my own table.

Hi,
I am not able to download the software package file you have mentioned. The connection keeps breaking once about 2 MB of the 41 MB zip file is downloaded.
Please advise.

Try this link. It’s from Seth Sandler’s Website about the MTmini.

Hey cupercat, I’m new here and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions about tbeta.

How do I allocate video device to the tbeta application? Because every time the command window opens, it says ‘error in allocating video device, please check with AMCAP’.

This is awesome, thanks very much to all involved :D

I have a comment to make. The only package that works for me is MTmini package v1. The tbeta.exe in tbeta-1.1-win-bin package just crashes at start up on “SETUP freeing media type” line in the cmd. Running applications in touchlib_beta_v2.0 results in an infinite “Square detected 0” error. I’m running Win XP.

Other than that my MTmini is brilliant!

Has anyone tried to do this with a regular video camera that connects through IEEE?

Hi all, How ye doing ?

Well as with every Newb who comes to the site I simple must try the MTmini ... and so I have
My MT Setup
>PS2 eyetoy
>Box wink
>Single sheet of pain paper

That is running on my Acer Aspire 5735 whihc had a 2.0GHz dual core and 4gb ram

I dont no whats going on with the recording of the source image from the camera but it is much clearer where my fingers where then what is showing there. I believe there the camera is running at about 30 ftp, however it will normally run faster its just being slowed down becuase the same computer is runing CCV my webcam and another webcam recording what you see in the bottom right and then on top of all that a program to record my desktop which is what you finally see. So ye its being taxed a bit more then what would normally be the case.

Anyways after completing my MTmini ... I’m Hooked ! I can’t stop playing with it and dreaming of my own MT table (which i’ve already started designing :D). Now just to find the money.

Let me know what ye all think smile
