looks sweet… great app guys ... and especially considering it is on flash so a lot more people will be able to contribute towards developing it…

got reminded of phun on my multitouch table using mouse driver… but nothin beats physics on multitouch…

might help you guys get some cues for fine tuning interaction for your app .. this one is just a mouse vesrion of the app.. but these guys are soon gonna work towards a multitouch version as well!!!!

Flash is great, but maybe for realtime simulation we’d rather go for C++. But as you say, actionscript is more accessible for developers.

Well i’ve seen fluid dynamics in flash , so it’s powerfull enough for this.Are you using APE for the physics?
And congrats on the project , it’s really smooth and looks nice

we’re using Box2d http://www.box2d.org

and we’ve got a smoke simulation (with a fluid solver) in AS3. it performs well, but nothing compared to Java It will be opens source soon,as well as crayon physics.
