I’m having performance issues with the latest versions of the Photo application. And it seems to get worse with each new version.

The latest version from the SVN pushes CPU usage to a constant 100%, and it can barely recognize touches (takes ages to respond).

The version in beta 2 works better, but rotating/scaling photos still drops the fps count to a few.

The old version in beta 1 works alright.

I’m running it on an Athlon64 3200+ with 2 GB Ram and a GeForce 6600.
