I’m starting out with the cardboard box design, and will slowly build up to more superior models…
so anyway,
I’ve built it; everything works fine, and everything is built correctly, (at least, to my understanding) but when I try the configuration, all that I see is static.
I know a lot of others have had this problem as well, but I can’t seem to find an answer.

I had the same problem initially. All I had to do was make sure it was looking for the right video hardware. The trouble shooting section of the getting started pdf tells you how to do this.

There’s no TV tuner.

And I can’t seem to find the trouble shooting section you were talking about.
